Doren Development buys new Wawa property in Mountain Lakes for $6.7 million

Doren Development has added to its portfolio in northern New Jersey after closing on a newly built Wawa property in Mountain Lakes.

The Passaic-based firm announced that it paid $6.7 million for the asset, located at 370 Route 46, in a deal with Highview Commercial. Spanning 1.7 acres, the property is home to a 5,585-square-foot Wawa convenience store that opened in January.

JLL’s Kevin OHearn, J.B. Bruno and Alex Geanakos brokered the sale.

“Doren Development is always looking for quality properties on heavily trafficked roadways like Route 46, and this checked all of our boxes,” said Rick Doren Jr., managing partner and president of operations.
